recipe: walnut & cacao granola

28 | Sep | 2015

don’t be fooled by the simplicity of this dish; the cacao, chia seeds and walnuts all pack a nutrient punch, a sort of superfood granola if you like! even though this has a ‘coco pops’ chocolatey milk vibe going on, it might be more suited to an adult palate, as walnuts are one of the more bitter variety of nuts. a sprinkle of dried fruit will bring additional sweetness if that’s how you roll!

I have been enjoying this granola with sliced banana and coconut milk. this could also be served with live natural yoghurt or your own milk of preference (cows, nut, soya whatever suits you!)
