Ditch the milk chocolate and come to the dark side. Made from the seeds of the cacao tree, dark chocolate is one of the best sources of antioxidants on the planet and it is loaded with nutrients that can positively impact your health. Cacao contains fiber and is loaded with minerals such as magnesium, copper and iron. To get this goodness choose good quality dark chocolate, organic if possible, with 70% solids (minimum).

Dark chocolate does contain some sugar and moderate amounts of fat so snack smartly folks. As a rule of thumb the higher the cocoa content the lesser the sugar. And lest I forget to mention, it tastes awesome.
